A general home inspection is just as it sounds...a general overview. This type of an inspection is a visual inspection only with no specialized testing or dismantling of any systems or components.  

However, a good thorough inspection will describe in detail almost every function of a home, how old it appears to be, where controls or shuts offs are located, how long typically a system or component may be expected to last, and maintenance repairs or upgrades needed. Safety related items should be addresses and are considered to be the most important part of the home inspection followed closely by monies that may need to be spend in the near future.

These are all things that are included in all of our inspections. In fact, we approach every home inspection as if we were buying this house and had to move our wife and kids in - - what would we do or what information would I need to know before purchasing.

Our General home inspection is a 16+ page report produced on-site or can be e-mailed the next day to save time. General home inspections take typically 21/2 hours to complete if we write the report on-site or 90 minutes if we do not write the report on-site . When you leave one of our inspections you walk away with all the confidence to proceed with your buying decision. 

Our inspection fees are monitored and in-line with other home inspection firms in the area. We make sure we are in the middle price wise. We are not the lowest price (for a reason), but we are not the highest either. However, after reading everything we do above and beyond all other home inspection firms, knowing that we are the only true professionals and full time inspection service in the area and price is still a concern...we may not be the best choice for you. There are lower cost inspectors out there and they really need your business. We want your business, but we will not compromise our inspections for a couple of dollars.
